Kacie Richardson

Sis or Kace



Where were you born?
Clackamas, OR

When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A singer/performer


Why did you want to become an Oregon Born ambassador?
I wanted to show support for small business and be an ambassador to an amazing company.

What is your favorite part about being an Oregon Born ambassador?
Getting to show my Oregon pride because I’ve lived in other parts of the country and being able to say that I am from Oregon and getting to represent it means so much to me.


What is your favorite thing about Oregon?
The waterfalls, the mountains, the trees, the beaches ….it’s so naturally breathtaking.

What is your favorite food?
Italian!


What is your favorite hobby?
Playing music and singing.


What is your favorite travel destination?
Italy or Greece…for the food obviously but I have a passion for history so being in a place or standing in a structure that has been around for ages is thrilling to me.



What kind of pets do you have, if any? What are their names?
Ellie! She’s a mini dachshund that is literally like a child to me. She is precious.

What causes are you passionate about?
Women’s rights and health and Supporting veterans is really big for me.



Do you volunteer? If so, where?
I wish I had time to! I donate a lot to veteran causes and try to promote on social media how important women's rights are to all human right.

What is an interesting fact about you?
I used to compete in javelin at a national level.



What accomplishment are you most proud of?
Being in the Navy as a whole. It really constructed who I am as a person and gave me so many opportunities to live in experiences that not many people get the chance to be a part of.



Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Tough question but definitely living the family life while being independently successful in more than one thing.



Favorite book?
Anything Chuck Palahniuk …local writer!



Favorite song?
Impossible to answer. I feel a deep connection to all types of music so there really isn’t one song I could label as my favorite. I will say that Stand by me the Tracy Chapman version stops me in my tracks.



Favorite movie?
Also impossible. I have different favorites in different genres but I will always go to Meet Joe Black. It’s a great underrated movie just about life and love.



And lastly, what was your favorite TV show when you were 5 years old. And what is your favorite TV show today?
5 years old?! I was hard core Disney movies then but probably on TV would be Mickey Mouse club.
